What to expect
This weekend has been designed as an introduction to Rocket® Yoga (Yes, it’s the one with all the handstands and the arm balances)….. But Rocket® is NOT just for advanced yogis and the super bendy – that actually couldn’t be further from the truth. The principle idea behind this weekend is to share the basics of Rocket® Yoga while also using elements of Vinyasa Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation to help you transform your attitude in all
areas of your practice.
What is Rocket® Yoga?
Rocket® Yoga is essentially a creative adaptation of the traditional Ashtanga Yoga series that was developed by Larry Schulz in San Francisco during the 80’s. The principle idea behind this modern approach to Ashtanga was to make it more accessible for regular practitioners and to help them develop and progress faster in their personal practice.

Who is Adam James?
Adam James is an experienced Rocket® Yoga teacher who is passionate about helping people along their yogic path. His teaching style is fun and dynamic but accessible to all levels, he believes that the true magic of Yoga only happens if you just keep showing up on your mat with faith but without expectations.
As one of David Kyles direct students Adam is true to the roots of Rocket® Yoga and wants to share this dynamic Yoga style while truly respecting the tradition of Ashtanga. David Kyles school – Yoga Puerto Rico Ashtanga Inc. – is the owner of the Rocket® Yoga trademark, which was created to protect the teachings of Larry Schulz and to ensure the highest possible teaching standards worldwide.
Adam will also be running a 50hr Rocket® Yoga Teacher Training in March that will not only allow existing teachers to add the hours to their training, but also enable them to be listed on the official Rocket teachers database.
